Dena
started her advertising career at Baker Lovick in 1989.
After two years as a Traffic Coordinator, she found her true
calling as a producer. Dena put in over 11 years at what
would eventually become BBDO Canada, gaining a reputation as
a creative producer, not just a facilitator.
It was then that Dena decided to spread her wings again and
try another side of the production business. She accepted
the position of Executive Producer at NewNew Films. And
while the experience proved invaluable, it wasn't long
before Dena missed the creative outlet that only an
advertising agency could offer.
So she moved back to the agency side as Head of Broadcast at
Leo Burnett. Here, she reinvented the Broadcast Production
Department, delivering world-class productions and building
a highly respected staff. Of course the responsibilities of
heading up a department left little time for Dena to pursue
her first love: Production. With that in mind, she launched
her own production company, Angry Women Productions Inc.
Throughout her career, Dena has produced commercials for a
huge range of clients, including Bud Light, Cadbury, Honda
Canada, Frito Lay, Labatt USA, and VISA.
