Javier Guemes
Graduating in 1987, he started his own creative shop where he worked until 1991, until he decided to try his luck in the big leagues at Ogilvy and Mather/Mexico. At Ogilvy, Javier worked first as a copywriter and then rose to the rank of Group Creative Director where he directed many acclaimed international accounts, including Hershey´s, Pond’s, KFC, Kimberly Clark Smith Kline Beecham, Jaguar, Kraft Foods Latinoamerica, Shell, and Seagrams. In 1997, he joined the Dieste Harmel & Partners’ family where his strategic focus has led, not only to the loss of his hair, but also to filling the position of Executive Creative Director. Javier enjoys the theatre and has seen just about every Broadway show in existence.
